Melville, NY – January 28, 2010 – Supermarket Energy Technologies, Phoenix, AZ, received the “Commercial Energy Efficiency Program” award from Long Island Power Authority (LIPA) at the annual award breakfast for work done in King Kullen Stores in 2009. King Kullen (a leading grocery retailer in New York) continues to demonstrate a true commitment to ongoing and sustaining energy reduction programs in their stores.

The award received by Supermarket Energy Technologies was for the most innovative approach for supermarket refrigeration, achieving the most energy savings from LED case lighting & ECM motor retrofits in 2009.
